ANDAHUAYLILLAS: In this area you will visit the famous church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas that is the major attraction for visitors due to the quality of their artwork because it is considered the "Sistine Chapel" of America. It was built by the Jesuits in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. Its architectural structure is the characteristic of small town churches. Its walls are broad, typical colonial buildings made of mud bricks dried in the sun, a facade adorned with murals and two stone columns projected towards the main gate. While its architecture is relatively modest, the interior decoration is the most impressive of the enclosure.

RAQCHI Archaeological Complex: At about 117 km from the city of Cusco. Raqchi (3485 m) is a small village of farmers and potters in which a group of families have adapted their homes to welcome tourists in a novel experiential tourism program. It is dated back to the fifteenth century and is considered by historians as one of the most audacious Inca constructions.  The Temple of Viracocha being the most important, with 100 m long and 20 m wide, which is made of adobe walls of volcanic stone foundations. The complex also includes an area of housing for the Inca nobility and dozens of circular rooms for the storage of food.

LA RAYA: Midpoint in the Cusco – Puno route. It is the highest part of the journey and  it is located at an altitude of 4335 m. We can see beautiful snow-capped mountains, amazing inter-andean sceneries and the birth of the Amazon River , also llamas, alpacas and vicuñas. This also represents the geographical connection between two cultures, the Aymara and Quechua. You can see the dry arid plateau in conjunction with the Quechua area rivers and streams as well.

Pukara - Puno: It is the most important and the oldest ceremonial center of the highlands, even before Tiahuanaco culture. It is characterized by a series of stepped platforms that resemble a pyramid called kalasasaya, culminating in a flat ceremonial center . You can also see impressive litho - sculptures and stelae or tombstones of members and characters that appear to show evidence of a brave civilization. In the highlands (altiplano) is where we discover the origins of Andean culture .
