LIVING TOUR TO RAQCHI 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT
Raqchi town is located, going on our travel. Eastwards, and reaching km 125 on the road to Puno, next to Vilcanota River. This town belongs to San Pedro de Cacha District, Canchis Province, Cusco department. It is 3500meters above sea level high (11500 feet high). It is thought that its pre-spanish name was “Cacha” and not “Raqchi”.
Some evidence that proves that Raqchi was a multiple-buildings town, assigned to several and different purposes: canchas (apartments), wayranas(three-wall buildings),qolqas (stores), several urns, religious usage water sources, etc. Because of all these features it is thought that this town was an important Tambo (supplying and lodging place) on the toward Collasuyo.
LIVING TOUR TO RAQCHI (2 DAYS/ 1 NIGH)
This new alternative of living tour to Raqchi, is an exotic and amazing experience to live where you get your chance of enjoying a community living to so, share the Raqchi inhabitant, and native people`s traditional, antique and ancestral customs.
FIRST DAY: CUSCO- RAQCHI
We pick up from your hotel very early, to then take you to Raqchi town, where we`ll visit the native homes of that place, so we`ll see and share their customs and traditions they keep alive since antique times. We`ll help them do the house chores and work duties, and we`ll be a part of those people`s daily routine, knowing their shade-grows and daily Works in the productive land that gives them food.
At night-time, we’ll have a typical music and dancing folkloric show of that region.
SECOND DAY: VISITING THE TEMPLE OF WIRACOCHA – CUSCO
Alter the lunch, we`ll get a tour to the Temple of the Wiracocha, that according to the chroniclers was built by Wiracocha Inka, to so pay homage to the Top invisible Andean Inhabitants God called “Apu Kon Titi Wiracocha”.
Alter this visiting we`ll see crafts, and weaving works made by the native inhabitants of that region, to then have a tipycal lunch of that very region.
In the afternoon, we`ll travel back to Cusco.
